I love living in the South where people return a smile and flip-flops are always in season. I’m fortunate to work alongside my friends and with each event I find my appreciation for the incredible talents of others deepens. Preserving joyful days in the lives of others is a hopeful legacy, I like to think might encourage people to spend time doing the things they love with the people that matter most to them and for everyone to ensure their experiences live on to remind them they have much to be grateful for.

A day in seaside with the Prueitt Family.

The rain held off enough on Sunday to get some lovely shots of the Pruiett Family. They had the cutest little girl that had the sweetest personality. She kept giving me handfuls of sand as a present and gave her mom and dad sandy kisses! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Engagement Shoot at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama.

Candice and Jeremy Engagement Shoot

This was such a fun shoot and probably my most adventurous couple yet! I had Candice heading through trails and into a concrete tunnel and she never complained one bit, even though she had heels on.  We trudged through mud and into creeks, but to get to these unique spots it was well worth the mud on my jeans and the leaves in my hair. Thank you Candice and Jeremy for being such good sports! :)

Meet Jessica Gray with J Giles Photography.

Ahhhh the dreaded about me section. What can I say besides that I am truly blessed and that I truly have the most amazing family and friends. My parents are two truly amazing people that have inspired me to be unique and to follow my dreams. Without the encouragement of not only my parents but my amazing husband I wouldn’t have been able to pursue my dream of photography. I’m married to a wonderful man and we have a beautiful little girl who is already trying to take better pictures than me and she’s only two! :) I love my family and they are my main motivation for everything that I do. The day I bought my first DSLR Camera was like finding home for me. I continually love learning new lighting and editing techiques to enhance my images. I have always been fascinated and inspired about the different cultures all around me and to be able to capture a glimpse of someone’s story with my camera amazes me everytime. Welcome to my website and feel free to look and contact us with any questions.

It’s official, I have a new logo for J Giles Photography!

I am so excited about my new logo! I have been searching and searching for something that reflects more about my style and brand. Who knew I would pick Pink?!? I was thinking something more blue, but when I saw this logo, I just knew that this was what I had been looking for. I hope everyone likes it and I am sure not everyone will, but here is a sneak peak of the new logo for my all new website by Blueprintgroupe.com.

They were so great to work with and you can tell that they really love their job!!
