Little Mykean’s Portraits!

Mykean Zane

. Mykean, who is almost three, is such a little spitfire and so darn cute you want to pinch those cheeks. She loved the camera and would have let me take pictures of her all day! I love children and getting to know their little personalities and listening to the cute things they say. You never know what they are going to do or what they are going to say. Mykean has the cutest little voice that makes your heart melt everytime she looks at your with those blue eyes and says candy please. She has another session coming up soon with her gorgeous mother Jeannie, so more to come!!!

Kelly and Jimmy are engaged!

Saint Augustine, Florida

April 26, 2010

Kelly and Jimmy came all the way down from the D.C area to plan their wedding and have their engagements pictures taken. We had a fabulous time checking out the Historic Saint Augustine Lighthouse and roaming the streets of the downtown area. They are getting married on the luck day 10:10:10 at Amelia Island. Here are a few of my fave pictures from the day!

Picture Ready Bride

Here are a few tips from J Giles Photography to get you picture ready for your wedding day. These tips can make all the difference in getting the pictures you want.

1. The Hairstylist: To be absolutely happy with your hair you need to always have a practice, to make sure the stylist can get the look you are looking for. To help your hairstylist out for your wedding day and for the practice, make sure to bring a picture of the hairstyle you see yourself having for your big day. That way they can see exactly what you are looking for to make you look stunning!

2. The Make-Up Artist: Again to love the way you look on this special day, you really need a practice run and bring pictures of the look you are trying to go for. Try airbrush make-up, it evens out your skin and looks great!! and it makes you look fabulous!!!

3. Fake Eye Lashes!!! They are amazing and make your eyes pop for pictures!! Make sure to have the Make-Up Artist put them on, because they will know exactly how to put them on and make them stay on.

4. Shoes!!! The more outrageous the shoes, the better!! The more outrageous the color of the shoes, even better!!! To help pick a color of the shoes, pick the color of the bridesmaid dresses.

J. Giles Photography Created the Loveliest Pictorial of My Very Important Day: Client Testimony

“J. Giles Photography came all the way to upstate New York to take my wedding photos. They were very kind and listened to my needs and ideas. They took the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. They had the most elegant approach to poses, candid images, that created a modern, romantic, joyful collage of my wedding day. Their photos captured the emotion in everyone’s expressions that bring back the joy of that day. I will never forget their professionalism and prompt response to my communications regarding proofs and prints. They created the loveliest pictorial of my very important day. They are very talented!”
